Are you actually making money from your marketing?
KPI = Key Performance Indicator
Just a regular ole fancy term for the numbers that tell you if your strategy is actually working.
Here are a few key KPIs every business should track (plus examples) :
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend): How much revenue you make for every $1 spent on ads.
Ex: If you spend $500 on a Google Ads campaign and make $2,000 in sales, your ROAS is 4x.CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost): How much it costs you to acquire a new customer.
Ex: If you spent $1,000 on Facebook ads and gained 20 new customers, your CAC is $50.LTV (Customer Lifetime Value): How much a customer is worth over time, not just on their first purchase.
Ex: If your average customer orders 3x a year at $150/order, their LTV is $450.
If you're spending $5K/month on marketing and don’t know what’s working… it’s time to get friendly with your KPIs.
YOU WORK TOO HARD TO HAND OUT THOSE HARD EARNED MARKETING DOLLARS. It isn’t just about being seen — it’s about being profitable.
